On September 3rd, we changed the Calendar design based on the results of a poll we took over the past couple of months. Unfortunately, only two people voted, but those who took part in voting preferred the proposed design to the old one, so the proposed design has been put in place.
Therefore, we can now introduce website visitors to the new Events Calendar with its new features.
The most important change to the Events Calendar is that you can now view past events in the Tri-Valley going back to May 2017. This means that you can find information about past events and check when they took place.
Also, the events are now divided into weekly time frames, and colored dots show in the box for each day to show how many events will take place. For example, if there are four dots underneath in the box for June 5th, then there are four events scheduled for June 5th.
We are now color-coding dots depending on the musician who is performing; however, it will take a month or so for the dots to be colored on all of the upcoming performances.
At the top-right corner of the new calendar is a "today" button so you can see the events scheduled for the current date, if there are any.
